Gathering User Requirements

In the early stage of the project user requirements were gathered. The project team prepared material for presenting the objectives of the study to potential users. In a user questionnaire, they compiled a set of questions about relevant aspects of the envisioned landslide mapping service. Interviews were organized and conducted with maintainers of infrastructure in Alpine areas, such as mountaineering clubs, forestry services, and geological experts of administrative authorities. Currently, the interviews are evaluated to identify specific user needs and technical requirements to the services.
Moreover, the project team gathered information about the landslide events in the defined study areas. First EO datasets have already been acquired.
