Presentation at AGILE 2016

Daniel Hölbling presents a semi-automated approach for mapping landslides on historical and recent aerial photographs at the 19th AGILE Conference on Geographic Information Science in Helsinki, Finland, 14-17 June, 2016. In his presentation he shows results from semi-automated mapping with object-based image analysis (OBIA) and compares them to manual landslide mapping, whereby he discusses advantages and disadvantages of both mapping approaches. The AGILE conference is a great opportunity to disseminate research findings from Land@Slide, to explore the latest developments in GIScience, and to network with professionals from academia, industry and public authorities.
