The Land@Slide team was selected to participate in the Copernicus Accelerator Bootcamp 2017. With our idea “Automatic mapping of landslides through an EO-based processing and monitoring web service” we were one of the finalists of the highly competitive Copernicus Masters Challenge and were invited to attend the Copernicus Accelerator Bootcamp, which took place in the frame of the European Space Week in Tallinn, Estonia, 06-09 November 2017. Daniel Hölbling and Florian Albrecht had the opportunity to discuss and further develop the Land@Slide service idea with their mentor and with international experts from science and business. The Copernicus Accelerator programme will continue over the next months and will be of great value for further developments. At the European Space Week, which brought together European space stakeholders, companies and researchers, the latest developments and recent news concerning the European Union’s Space Programmes Copernicus and Galileo were presented and discussed.
